I’m gonna guess rye and I’m gonna be wrong (it’ll be bourbon) but at this point I’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain. It’s a spicy one, but fruity at the same time, like chasing Red Hots with Mike & Ikes. Yeah, cinnamon, caramel, maybe a hint of orange rind. Quite good, if a tad spiky to be a favorite.

I’m getting lots of vanilla on this one. Initially didn’t love it, but getting it a little colder helped it a lot for me. A little Amy Grant Christmas album + this is not a bad time. 🎄⭐️🥃❤️

Number 3 of the night. It's only been about 45 minutes. Is it a bourbon? It has such a cozy burn. But there's a hint of sweet. Is it an Irish then? Here we are, 75% of the way through. This year I believe I've been born anew Scotch are no longer smoky and gross. This year perhaps they are the whiskey I have enjoyed the most. Day 18, what do we say? What's for dessert after my glass of dinner Cabernet? That is a bourbon and my it's damn good. As the kids say this is an assignment that JK understood. Sam-I-am there is no mystery to what we think. This is an excellent dram, I would always love to drink. Six more days until this year is done. I hope everyone is having a lot of fun.

Ooh, big big cinnamon up front on the palate, reminiscent of the ECBP. Nose is pretty tight, mostly that old furniture varnish vibe. Getting some more apple and honey on the palate now. This is a lovely lovely dram. Proof’s gotta be well above a hundo. Best of the calendar so far and it isn’t close.

Scotches everyday! My palate is feeling abused. After my first sniff of this one, I am very confused. At least the scotches are easy to guess For everything else I'm just giving it my best. My first taste, well it's got a bit of a punch Perhaps this is a rye, is my first hunch. But JK said of bourbons, there are the most. Lock in the guess and through this game, you will coast. But back to whiskey at hand, Sam-I-am. I will say it's a fine little dram. I don't love the smell, but it's really about the taste. This certainly is not a pour to waste.
