Citrus and fruity to the nose. Definitely not a bourbon/Tennessee.

Wood, straw, and cherry on the nose. Brown sugar, spices, raisins in the palate. Fruitcake whiskey, in a good way. Tastes big but not huge. Could it be the Four Roses Small Batch Select?

Lots of oak and char on the nose. Fairly tight but opens up to some fruit notes after a sip. Cherries and brown sugar on the palate. First thought was a high rye bourbon.

Green apple and honey on the nose. More green apple and oak and maybe some iodine on the palate? Light peat? Reminds me of Highland Park.

Green apple and honey on the nose. Touch of spice, though maybe I'm just not washing my glen cairns well enough. The honey and green apple trade places on the palate. Not very hot at all. Super smooth, but not too complex.

Looks like coffee from the color. The nose is tons of wood, chicory, burnt sugar, herbal notes on the back end. Palate - this is something with cold brew in it. Jameson? Better than Fireball by a hair.

Nose - a huge improvement over Day 8. Wood varnish, spices, leather. Struggling to find any fruit, maybe peaches? There's like a mustiness or something that dominates the nose. Caramel/burnt sugar on the palate. Tastes like a rye or a high rye bourbon.

Pretty subtle nose but a splashy palate. I feel like the more I taste it the less I know about it. Slight peat?

Green apple, maybe some cantaloupe on the nose, caramel, like a hint of spice. Brown butter on the palate, brought out like an apricot thing in the nose. A pleasant, fruity malt whisky.

Stewed apples on the nose. Green apples on the palate, some cinnamon, some like dusty furniture polish. I wonder if this is Japaneseโ€ฆ

Cherries, oak, caramel. Whew, that's hot. Brown sugar, peaches, ethanol. Baking spices on the finish.

Really lovely green apple on the nose with a little shortbread in the background. Sweet and a little hot on the palate. Brings spice notes to the nose. It's a little simple, but otherwise nice. Irish?

A little cherry but also some peach on the nose. The palate is underwhelming at first but brings out some herbal notes on the nose. Not a lot of sweetness here. Is this a rye?

Not much on the nose but this might be my favorite malt of the calendar so far on the palate. Tastes like a big boy.

Hooo that's a big boy. I'm not doing this one justice because I'm congested as all get out.

It's probably just my congestion but I get next to nothing out of this one.

Saving half of all these because I can barely taste anything but the heat. Still, doesn't register as malt or bourbon.

Burnt sugar and cherries on the nose. Some cinnamon and baking spice. A little bit of a dusty or musty note. A little peach on the front palate. Tastes fairly big, thought unpleasantly hot. Sits pretty on the tongue. Is it the Old Forester 1920?

Pretty tight nose. Lots of alcohol on the palate, but lots of sweetness also. Like a cherry cola finish. Not a lot of fruit. Tastes big but simple. Could be rye but I'm playing the odds.

Nose - black cherry, caramel, cinnamon, wood varnish, maybe a little peach back there somewhere. Palate - brown sugar, canned peaches in syrup. Tastes a little hot.

It's sweet, but not simple. Lots of dark fruit and brown sugar/molasses save it from just being a syrupy sugar bomb. The proof doesn't quite sneak up on you, but it drinks easier than it ought to. Black Cherry cola for grown folk.

Oh my, that's lovely. Man, it's like candy up front. Hiding some heft that shows up on the back end. The nose is pretty tight, but the palate is wild.

Peated but not overly so. English leather, some tropical fruit... Talisker? Jura?
