Taste like a Highland scotch. Which is to say delicious… Doesn’t taste that refined so will put it in the medium price range, but we drink this any day.

This is a fantastic scotch (hopefully my tastebuds are right). This reminds of our golf trip to Scotland. I can smell the ocean, feel the breeze, and this takes me there. Nice pick. Also, can we all grow up a little and have Scotch win the calendar this year. That’s just old man shaking a fist at the calendar. C’mon Scotch!!! And if this isn’t a scotch I’m an idiot. Haha.

Scotchy scothch scotch (?) This is enjoyable. Little bit of peat. Little bit of heat. Overall, very gentle for a scotch. My only real complaint is the finish is a bit short. Very nice flavor profile!

Charming and nicely balanced. This tastes like a Japanese whiskey trying to emulate a lowland scotch.

Nose of cherries and molasses. Definitely a bourbon, probably barrel strength. The more I sip it, the better it gets.

Damn, starting out hot. Dried fruit/fruitcake/raisins on the nose. Lots of heat on the first sip. Tastes like a Sherried Cask Scotch?

Solid dram. Is that wheat I taste? Not a fan of wheat …or peat…or probably most things that rhyme with ‘eet’

Tastes like a rye-heavy Tennessee whiskey. A bit spicy for my taste but I respect what it’s up to.

Sweet and smooth early, with some heat at the end. I like this one.

This smells and tastes very familiar. Is this Woodford Double Oak? Plenty of sweetness and a slightly elevated heat. Overall, very solid. I’d be happy if I ordered this at a bar downtown.

I’m so confused by this one right now. It’s good but I am not sure the style or proof. I’m a terrible blind guesser.

Happy Holidays gang! Why's it so spicey....reminder why I am not a huge Rye fan. I have always wondered if people who like peaty Scotch really dig Rye? Cant wait for the rest of them though!!

Tastes like Ezra Brooks 7-Year Straight Rye, 114 proof. Spicy on the back-end. Just how I like 'em.

Wow! This packs a punch. It took me a few sips to get past the heat and start enjoying it. Vanilla, caramel and heat. Really strong start. Love the advent calendar!!
