Look, I wasn’t sober when I poured today’s whiskey but i was super confused by the nose. I don’t think it’s Irish or bourbon. My heart tells me Indian, but the odds tell me Japanese.

Classic bourbon nose, that oatmeal molasses nose, strong bite and light flavor. Long finish for being so light. This has a very familiar taste like it can be purchased at any ABC. Still yummy. 6/10.

Darker richer nose, something richer about this one. Darker richer color. Almost has a smell of a hot raisin bread. Soft flavor and doesn’t seem as hot due to alcohol. Rich and complex finish. 7/10 as I would love it to be even richer. Solid choice.
