First sniff smells like scotch. One sip, tastes like scotch. But there's been some tricky ones, so knowing my luck this is an "other".

This one started off fine, with the nose and first taste. But the finish killed me. I'd put it in the "medicinal/old band-aid" section of the aroma wheel.

Smells like apple pie - fruit and warm spices. Light smokey flavor and pretty smooth finish with just a touch of burn at the end. Really enjoyed this.

Yum. Cloves, sherry, maybe some coffee. Basically, lots of nice flavor to parse and enjoy.

Gotta say I was a little scared to try this after pouring. Looks like cough syrup, smells like Sharpie, surprisinglyyyy not bad? Getting leather and licorice with a sawdusty finish. Pretty low proof - pretty much zero burn. What is this???

Smoky, peaty, maybe some citrus? I think if I liked smoky scotches that I would have really enjoyed this. I just can’t get past the super strong smoke. It also lingered a bit too long for my liking.

A little spicy, but not enough to tip me over to rye. But I've made the wrong call a lot this year...otherwise, I get some nutty flavor throughout.

Smells like a rose garden in spring. Super light on the tongue with a nice peppery kick. Nice.

Smells like a scotch. First sip taste like scotch, but a little bourbon ish on the second sip. Definitely smokey, not as much peat as normal scotch. This one's tricky because it changed as it sat in the glass.

Smells weird. Burned by nostrils. But tastes pretty good. Strong. Nutty and sweet. Tiny hint of spice but not enough to convince me it's a rye. Do I taste orange? Now I'm just making stuff up.
