So close to being amazing, but thereโ€™s some hint of iodine/scotch note on the end- would prefer a sweeter finish. Love the higher proof.

Quotes
The smell is familiar, the taste is complex and enthralling. I get hints of spice and plum. The whiskey has a strong punch behind it, with a strong alcohol content. Some type of barrel proof, maybe Bookers.

Goodness gracious me. Now weโ€™re talking. Maple and warm spices on the nose with a nice sweet burn down the gullet. Burnt caramel, sweet orange, nectar of the gods on the tongue. Long slow burn to finish. Yum.

Man itโ€™s tough. Thinking a barrel proof rye. Vanilla bitter scotch cinnamon candy nose and taste.

Woof. The peat really smacks you in the mouth, my wife mentioned a taste of dusty marrow, not a good sign. I like scotch and rather liked it but it is pretty hot and raw, this is what I'd expect a scotch that Willem Dafoe distilled in his shed would taste like. Would drink again but can't kiss my wife after I do.

For me was fruity/floral on the nose, then corn toward the back. Very nice.

Love the spice levels here. I'm getting clove/cinnamon flavors and plenty of heat.

Harsh on the front end which made us initially suspicious it was a rye. Good nose, hard to nail down what I'm picking up in it though. May be that I scorched my palate by tasting day 2 right before this one.

nose is spicy and grainy. Taste is straight-up heat, high alcohol content. Reminds me of when i first had hard liquor and it burned fucking everywhere. Realizing I am a sweeter bourbon whore ...oh, and I cant get the taste of the dumpster on fire number 2 out of my mouth.
