A lot going on in this one. Getting a lot of spice on the nose - anise, cinnamon, but also bright and citrusy too. A nice earthy flavor, notes of cedar? But if a burn at the end but nice. This kinda tastes like Christmas.

Interesting fruity aromas on this one - getting raisins and bubblegum. Sweet fruity palette but and unpleasant metallic finish.

So. I accidentally had this one on the 19th. I feel the need to say the 19th (Saturday's tasting) is damn tasty. Sweet, fruity, and enough oaky dry finihs to know this is a lovely scotch. Now, for the 20th, not sure what it is - but it's not my cup of tea.

I read somewhere that Irish whiskeys run sweeter than other whiskeys ... so I'm going with Irish. Quite good. I like it a lot. Caramel, pear, and maybe cinnamon?? I'm totally making stuff up now :-) but if I'm right I'll look really smart!
