Booooo go back to bourbon! Lol. Glad to try to expand my horizons though.

Nicely balanced sherry bomb whiskey.

The spice. The spice must flow. For 10,000 years the imperium has stood based entirely on the control of the flow of spice. And now, this gift of Shai-Hulud is in my glass, in my mouth. Bring your thumpers for A worm rider am I. I give the gift of water: the water of life has tamed the very gift of the great worm! alas I have wasted what could turn Aarakis, this Dune to a paradise on weakening the spice. And the spice must flow. BLESS THE MAKER AND HIS WATER, BLESS THE GOING AND COMING OF HIM. I like this one a lot

This baby is hot. Water helps it some, but my taste buds haven't recovered from the initial singe. Is that cinnamon or spice or just heat?

SO hot--but not in the Nate kind of way--hahaha! ;-) Adding water made a 100% difference, but still had some trouble finding flavors.

Heartburn in a glass...in all honesty, I cant even provide nose or tasting notes without reaching for TUMS.

Spicy and hot, but not in a good way. Some licorice and a little honey

Yum! Cinnamon

Coming in hot! Wow this is spicy. Is it a rye or high proof or both? Smells like a cherry, tastes like a fireball. I need some milk and a Pepcid.

Winey cinnamon. Let's see.Leather. Toast. Old musty closet. Raisin. Like the scents! Oh hell that first sip was fire and cinnamon! Good gracious. Holy wow lol. Do not care for it much but let's see what a touch of water does. Ok a bit better but not doing it for me. Gotta say I'm shocked at the difference in nose and palate. Right on - day 5 reminding me why I love the whiskey advent!

Vanilla on the nose, napalm on the palate. Spiritually this embodies my senior prom date. I don't want to talk about it.

Good flavor, but HOT!

not going to lie, this one had me discombobulated. Like it , but having trouble pinning down if it was a bourbon or rye.

The more I drank this, the less I liked it. Not a good sign.

Hot alcohol on the nose. Cinnamon toffee vanilla and light oak all I get at first. Came back to it and now picking up nuttiness like peanut butter. Whiskey is weird .

Is this another bottled in bond? I’m so confused

'Twas the night of the fifth tasting, and all through the air, A sweet woody scent lingered, beyond all compare. Better than the diaper of the baby sitting on my lap. Yes, this scent was earthy like my Christmas tree dripping with sap. The first sip was a shock, with more power than planned, Bolder than expected, yet you can call me a fan. Could it be rye? I’m not sure, I confess, After five years of tastings, I should know this, I guess. But no matter the name, no matter the grain, This whiskey’s a winner, it would put many others to shame. A powerful pour, and my favorite so far A sip that’s so smooth, I can't wait to add it to my bar.

Not good.

Whoa - this one has some fire in it. Felt like I got a bit of baking spices at the start before my mouth just burned. I bet this makes a fantastic Old Fashioned, but as a straight sipper it’s not to my taste.

The alcohol is coming through and masking the flavor. Making me think this is a younger whiskey and possibly another boutique distillery. It’s good though.

Strong proof. Jim Beam peanut note? Elijah Craig or Larceny BP?

Oaky and delicious
