Notes

This is not too memorable. It's got some spice and caramel flavor, but doesn't distinguish itself much.

If someone needed a gift for me, please buy me this. So much yes… a hint of wheat lingering? Berry enjoyable.

I get tootsie roll in this one...which makes me think of my grandma, who called me that sometimes. I'll give this pour a nostalgia bump in the rating.

Not good. This could be that I changed our cat's litter ... but smelled distinctly like cat pee.

Very interesting and complex flavors on this one… Leather with a lot of sweetness. Loved it neat, really sad I added water. And then more sweetness on the end, almost like a cocktail without the cocktail.

I am 4 days behind, which means my tasting notes are likely to get more amusing as the evening rolls on. I think this is a scotch? Although possibly a Japanese? It's not bad. Not my jam. Fairly mild. I smell cilantro ... which I know ain't right.

Lots of butterscotch and toffee vanilla and dare I say pralines on the nose. Like walking into candy shop that they are making toasted marshmellows. Taste is quite nice especially after a few drops of water. Like eating a butterscotch candy that was stored in a leather pouch. Proof gonna be tough on this one as I think it’s a higher proof smooth drinker. Curious what makes it so sweet. Perhaps a rum barrel something. Comparing proof to EJ toasted barrel

No clue what type this could be, but its delicious. Extremely smooth with almost like prunes on the nose with a caramel heavy finish with smooth notes of honey to help it along.

Sweet and firey. Tasty, and opened up nicely with a splash of water.

This is so confusing. Not a scotch, too dark for Irish, not a rye, so maybe a unique bourbon?? Tasty though.

Disgusting. Smells like a Wings beach shop. Tastes like stale apples. Please don't be my selection.

Something distinct i can't quite place what is it. Definitely caramel, cinnamon. Some vanilla. Alcohol is there but not too forward. Actually got some smoke. Cake, baked bread. Sour aftertaste. Butterscotch. Pepper. Good but not terribly interesting?

Like the spiciness with a touch of sweetness and this one kind of grew on me after a few sip, but I just can't get past that finish. This one just isn't for me.

This is going to win the calendar. Pure deliciousness.

Holy moly chocolate bomb

I really like this one. The finish is unlike anything I've had. It almost tastes like a Christmas tree...without the risk of swallowing the needles.

Tastes like…burning. Flavor profile is good, but unrefined. Seems on the cheaper side…despite the higher proof

I stare into this strangers face. ‘I know you…have I met you before?’ ‘No’ he says ‘we have not met on this earth or the next. ‘How can that be?’ I ask ‘you are so familiar, but so foreign’. ‘I am the ending of a story you have not yet written.‘ he says ‘look deeper, look inward, look AT ME’ and I realize I am staring into a mirror.

Interesting nose on this one - lots of pepper and touch of oak. Cinnamon in finish. Enjoying it but not a standout.
