No clue on this one. Very mild ... although I'm playing catch up and this is my third whiskey tonight ... so my taste buds may be numb.

I have a nikka Japanese whiskey at home that has messed me up. It tastes a lot like Scotch to me. I think this *might* be a nikka.

Mild. Sweet. I quite liked this one.

Enjoying this one quite a bit. Tasting cinnamon and spices. Could it be a rye?

I have pretty much no idea on this one. I need more sleep to sharpen and refine my taste buds.

The nose is amazing, but the flavor profile is not my favorite. Is that wheat again? I’m guessing bourbon, but wouldn’t be surprised if this is some rye.

Real nice drink. Smooth and sweet finish

'Twas the night of the tenth tasting, in a room softly lit, A glass of whiskey, waiting where I decided to sit. The nose was elusive, not much did it show, Just a wisp of light smoke, in the faint evening glow. A sip on my tongue, I channeled Ron’s cheer, "Scotch scotch scotchy scotch," but love wasn't near. Mellow and smooth, for a scotch it was tame, I'd drink down a glass or two, though not with much acclaim. It danced on my palate, with a decent embrace, But it wouldn't be winning the top of my taste. Yet there in the quiet, with night closing in, A sip of this scotch made for a restful evening in.

Gross.

This burns, might be my inexperience but this one was intense

Between the last two nights, not getting much on either of these. Both have been very light, easy drinkers but nothing really standing out.

Lots of alcohol at the start but the finish is complex and delicious. I like this one.

Oak on the nose (faintly) Leather on the tongue, with some sweetness I can’t place? Cinnamon and maybe some faint cherry? Decent, but nothing really punching through to make it a hero. Would be better as a cocktail.

When the gods war was over and all life on earth was still, there was a first new day. The sun rose angrily, stretching out his fires to a still recovering earth. Before his fury could reach the cold ground and incase it in flame, there interposed a new being, one of gentle beauty. She stood before the fire of the sun, holding herself between the raging furnace and our fragile earth. And so the earth remained cold, frozen, and lifeless. She began to understand what our world would need. And so she let the light of the sun shine through her golden hair and dance along the ground: warm but not burning, light but not blinding. This was the first Dawn, and the humans to rise on this new earth bottled it and put in in this glass.

Light, floral, delicious dram. Is it Japanese or am I just overthinking it. Either way, I am enjoying it. Love this advent calendar!!

Meh. It smells like medicine, kinda sweet and the color of pee. Kinda weird like a scotch, but not that peat or smokey scotch taste. Just smells like alcohol to me. Not a huge fan but it wasn't disgusting. So it's an other? Or one of the minor ones I haven't used in any of my other guesses. I'm guessing lower proof.

Nose and taste is baking spices. Solid dram. Feels similar in proof to the previous day.

Very solid. Very much enjoyed this dram.

Kind of tastes like grass and dew. Not my thing.

Light fruity scotch perhaps a highland. I like this type of scotch . Easy drinking.

Is this water?

Gotta be a scotch or I'm a bigger moron than she says I am. We both like this one, Sam exclaimed 'oh god, do I like scotch now?!?' (though she denies it, in her heart she does, she'll come around)
