Fire flames hot. Peppery, high proof, but also something that tastes like scotch at the end. So it's either a rye, a scotch, an other, a weird bourbon, or something else that I probably won't get right.

Wow. The first standout of the calendar. This is outstanding!

I love it. I'm buying a bottle. Please don't be expensive.

High heat. Some sweetness on the nose and pallet. Not bad overall but a bit overpowering.

Like this one a lot. Sweet and smooth but somehow still spicy. This one’s got a lot going on.

Hot sweet with a touch of red lollipop flavor.

Scotch ... but the good kind that doesn't taste like smoldering moss.

Like a stick of dynamite soaked in sherry. 💥

Hands down, this is one of the most complex flavors I’ve ever experienced. Nose was pure, unadulterated alcohol. I steeled myself for a burn, and still wasn’t prepared for all that heat. My stomach lurched as I reached for the fire extinguisher and I thought that’s one hell of a rye. My next thought was “is this salvageable or should I just dump it…” and while I was contemplating, the flavors finally developed and was left with the clear impression of scotch on my palate. I would have given this a full 2 points higher if it tasted like the aftertaste, but that alcohol burned away the flavor. I dub thee “cinnamon toast scotch”. Mostly pleasant when converted to a classic scotch and water.

Sweet. Slow burn. Tastes like a Scotch, but a more subtle one. Decent.

Cherry, pepper, woodsy, natural tones. Easy drinking. Love it following all of those high proof options. Enjoying this one at a Panthers v Eagles game. Go Panthers!!!!

Lovely, from first scent and sip to the last drop. Flavorful, warm, and enjoyable. That all said, I'm so confused about type and proof. I'm going with my gut here. Cheers.

Were I to ever become a father and were my spawn to ever gain a partner and were that partner to ever seek my approval, I would give them this one neat and pretend it’s my regular. Were I to ever meet a dragon I would offer this one as a breath mint. Were I to ever find myself in the desert, I would be prepared by having drunk this whiskey. Were I to, you f*cking get it it’s spicy and rough. WATER UPDATE: oh wow that’s much better forget I said anything. Still spicy as hell but like in a good way now. Were I to meet the maker of this one I’d shake their hand and say ‘good job I like it’ in between bouts of breathing fire.

I'm an easy date for a high proof, but even this one might be too much for me.

Whatever it is, it’s fantastic.

Nutmeg. egg nog. Hmmmm. Cardboard. Heat, woody. spent candle? Sip is a strong bite. Bottled in bond? Raw alcohol? I do get some chocolate but any subtlety is gone. Hoo that is something. Too much sting on the tongue but I enjoy the nose. Wouldn't purchase but would sniff. Winey. Funk. Listerine. Long tail raisin.

Having faith that tonight's won't be a scotch, please for the love of God let the scotches be over.
