So good to be back. And so good to finally see Rye get some recognition in last year's calendar

So hot, so sweet. Delicious. Truly deserving of being last year’s winner

This is great. Love the vanilla notes on this one as well. Can’t wait for another great year

Not a huge fan of Rye’s but the high proof seems right.

So many things to like about this one, but mostly is that the advent calendar is back!

I read the email and still doubt my answer so welcome to whiskey advent! loving the heavy caramel on nose, egg nog, nutmeg, vanilla, maybe something, um, some kind of tree smooth nip followed quickly by heavy bite which wasn't expected from the nose? dash of water required Enjoyed!

Tastes like Ezra Brooks 7-Year Straight Rye, 114 proof. Spicy on the back-end. Just how I like 'em.

Delicious start to 2024!

Such a great rye. Little spicy, little sweet. Perfect way to get this years Advent Calendar under way.

Wow! This packs a punch. It took me a few sips to get past the heat and start enjoying it. Vanilla, caramel and heat. Really strong start. Love the advent calendar!!

Beautiful. High octane. Great 2023 winner.

Controversial hot take: this still isn’t good. Worth noting that I’m not a fan of rye — all I can taste is the burn and that makes me sad. Maybe good in a cocktail but why not use something that has flavor. :p

High proof. Sweet on the front end with heat to finish. Butterscotch, orange, and cinnamon notes.

This one’s not quite my taste, but great to be back for 2024!

The initial taste was smooth but had a Kentucky Hug that stayed with you a while. Worth buying if bottle price was under $65

The higher proof pushes it a bit more rough than I typically like. Even opened up with a bit of water it’s not smooth. I think it’s probably hold up well in a cocktail, but straight it wouldn’t be my first choice,

Nice little mint note on the back end. Vanilla on front for me. Really like this.
