If this isn’t a rye, it’s certainly cosplaying as one with all these spicy notes. I can’t get past the heat on this dram.

Everything is good up until the finish. There's something strange there. Not mad about it, but not sure I'm loving it either.

There’s smooth, then there’s slick. And this here is sliiiiick. Like cool runnings slick. Like Alfalfa slick. Like that one time it iced over my parking lot and I fell straight on my ass in front of my crush slick, but you have to understand, I’m 6’3 so anything I do is clumsy already and when you introduce ice to the equation you get a giraffe doing ballet. Slick. STILL not very complicated, not a lot going on for me. Drinkable? Hellllllllllllllll yes. But is it punching me in the face with flavor? No. The only thing punching me in the face is the icy icy ground from me falling on it that one time. WATER UPDATE: wow. Added nothing. What is water good for anyway? It’s just future ice. And ice is slick. And slick is dangerous.

Tastes and smells like leather/sweets and lots of missed three pointers. Seriously, Carolina, how can you lose in your own building to a football school that just knocked you out of the NCAA tourney last year?

Kind of thick, with a hint of chocolate & peanut butter.

A weird forward soapy taste? This one has me guessing.

Whoa this one stumped me. It tastes like a bourbon but then theres something different about it. Could be a tasting note or it could be a sneaky type like rye or other. I like it though.

Smooth with some heat and a hint of licorice

Great nose…hot. But the finish seems to suggest this is cheaper than I think… some element that isn’t as refined. Delicious dram though

I'm not certain that this is a scotch, it might be Japanese. Whatever it is, it is quite tasty. Easy drinking for sure

This one is strong…I think. Still got a fruity finish and I’d overall enjoyable

Oh sweet vanilla. Very, very nice. Right down the middle. Candy. I love it. toast. zesty maybe? Quite a bit going on for such a smooth take. honey. lemon. This one eludes me on specifics but is extremely well rounded. My favorite so far. The spice here makes me go rye, forgive me father if it is bourbon.

Cinnamon oak and Apple and baking spice on nose. Kinda hot cinnamon and medical finish.

'Twas the night of the fourth tasting, the glass in my hand, I sniffed at the whiskey, smelling rich and so grand. The first whiff was sweet, with a maple delight, And perhaps cinnamon apples that will dance through the night. Excitement was building as I took the first sip, It hit a bit stronger, as it passed through my lips. A smooth woody flavor, so bold and so deep, Like a fine Tennessee, it was best enjoyed neat. With each little taste, my thoughts did unfold, This whiskey's a treasure, that will never get old!

This is complicated. Deep, rich, lots of wood, had to be cured in a special barrel. I have zero idea what style this is. This tastes expensive. Would be cool if it’s cheap because I would probably buy this one. I feel like this is a boutique distillery. Like one not in a typical spot or location. I have no idea. Nice pick this one.

Sweet like honey on the front end but packing a punch with the heat of the back end.

I like this. It’s a bit rough, but tasty. Grassy notes, perhaps? I like the slow burn at the end.

Nice spicy rye notes for a cold night. Like the cinnamony finish. Cat did not care for it.

Smells like gasoline and honey. Tastes like charcoal. And for those reasons, I’m out.
