Bourbon. Color is a dead give away. I like my odds.

Pine needles soaked in rubbing alcohol. Too much… hard to get this one down.

I don’t know. It’s hot & spicy. I put some water in & didn’t help. I taste pepper & maybe root beer.

Feel the burn. This baby is hot. Getting lots of pepper and some toffee. It's like a Heath bar met a bottle of Fireball.

Tastes like gas station ‘bourbon’ . Burning with a hint of nail polish.

It's got wood varnish, licorice, and herbal notes. that are going to lead me down the garden path to mislabelling it rye again. It's complex and full bodied, but not my favorite flavor profile. More interesting than delicious.

Can’t quite tell what this is. Tastes like a sour apple.

Apples or pears on the nose, wasn't expecting that but a nice take. This pretty rich with honey and baking spicing maybe nutmeg or cinnamon throughout on the palate. Seems pretty light & smooth, but enjoying this one quite a bit.

Cinnamon. Vanilla. Warm spices like a nutmeg. Gingerbread cookie. Wonderful without water. Nail polish remover! Varnish. Love the spices on the tail end. High grade on this one. Hot on the lips but not in the chest.

Man I spent a lot of time on this one. Analysis paralysis in the best way. Sampling 5 high proofers to compare talks shit to u real quick. As I came back to the sample it was a honey note with floral bouquet to others with a good amount of oak. I dig it just hard one tonight with ryes in the mix. Making me crazy man! Daughter had fun blind tasting me. May be new bonding exercise.

I have no idea what this is but I really like it. Almost sour at the very front but finishes like a bourbon. I’d drink this again.

Another day, another banger! Lots of honey and vanilla. Great heat through the finish, but it doesn’t overpower the flavors.

First taste I am thinking full synthetic oil - Mobil. Hard pass. Might mail this one back to HEF. 😉

From the pour my mouth was watering. Not a big neat drinker but this one was nice. I could see me getting fancy with the marble cubes to not water this one down. Feel like I’ve had this one before

Pretty light and easy. Not a harsh Scotch but any means. If I didn't know better, I'd choose Irish... But I do know better.

Hmm, we're not sure about this one since we don't hate it. Smells and looks like a scotch for sure. Smokey at first, but then sweet and nutty on the next sips. So I guess it's a "scotch I don't hate" which needs to be it's own category.

Kinda moderate all the way around for me. But in a solid, def drinkable way.

Maybe an unpeated? Getting lots of grassy notes and lemon on nose. Decent for a scotch.

I understand that there are two main types/styles of Scotch. This is the one I don't like. The nose is not good.
