look i'm just getting started here and i have to fast for the doctor tomorrow so initial pour heavy oak on nose and extra heavy on nip water opens to brown spices and caramel/vanilla lingers

Hi proof, serious burn. I know it's last year's winner so I know it's good, but I don't think it's as good as I remember last year. I wonder if there's more rye in the mash bill compared to last year’s bourbon. Excellent sipping whiskey.

The nose on this one burned off most of my nasal hair, but it redeemed itself with a little sweet on the front and a great finish. We both felt like it could be a rye and the consensus is that we'd buy this. Good stuff. Thanks for not slipping me Fireball on day 1.

I will take this one on the rocks every time. Much stronger than I remember from last year. My pallet definitely needs refining/retraining. Aside from the spice, hard to get the other taste notes
