Seems Young I would say. Pretty straight forward otherwise. No big flavors noted

Honestly, I have no idea what this is. It didn't taste like bourbon or scotch. I like it.

Not getting much flavor from this. Smoke for sure. Maybe apple?

Mark Peters
Shaft
Pretty good.

Smells like an old sneaker with a hint of smokiness. Taste is brown sugar. Enjoyable.

This feels like a wild guess for day 2 but I think this might be a chocolate malt scotch. Reminds me of the Glenmorangie Signet.

Nose โ cherry, wicker, baking spice. Palate โ smooth front, spicy mid, caramel finish. Pick up more wood notes on the nose after the first sip.
John Boggs
I struggled differentiating this one. The nose was pleasant and sweet. The sweetness of the nose did not extend to the flavor. Enjoyed it.

John McDowell
Worm
Guessing either a wheaty bourbon or other. Thereโs a hint of maple and bacon but somehow that isnโt really a good thing. Not bad, but not my fav

I canโt put my finger on this one but I am a fan.

Burns the nose hairs at smell.
Taste cinnamon for sure
Finish is spice

Nose was a bit bland, but a nice smooth mouthfeel. Strong hints of tobacco, tail of leather. Slight sweetness โ black cherry?

Enjoyed this more than I remembered. Glad we ranked it highly.

First whiff: notes of maple syrup but don't think it's Canadian, thinking it's a bourbon
Second whiff: less convinced it's a bourbon and realizing it's going to be another year where my thumb gets sore scrolling the leaderboard to find my name
First taste: its light, not complex but I like it, clearly exposing my unsophisticated palate? palette? pallet?
Second taste: I think this would be best served neat, over rocks would water down too quickly, has to be a lower proof
Let's go with $43 for a fifth?

Full Body
This is pretty boring. No flavor, and a little spice at the end.
It's not bad, it's just not good.
Christopher Reeves
band-aid
Apple Jacks! Old wood and a touch of tobacco? Band-aids and plastic. No heat. I don't love it, just doesn't seem to be much going on?

Allan Maule

Really interesting combo of flavors. Like a cherry pie put in a blender with caramel ice cream.

Matt Eagle
Precious
Nice rich amber color, sweet honey nose, a bit of a bite throughout the finish. This smells like a bourbon but drinks a bit like a rye.
Do I love it? Not really.
Have both my kids been sick since before Thanksgiving and Iโm just glad to have some booze at the end of the day? Absolutely.
While this wouldnโt be my first choice to enjoy neat, I bet it would make an excellent cocktail.

James Hatfield
Hanky
Earthy, some baking spice, light nose, short finish. I have zero clue what this is. Has that green apple ๐ flavor that usually means itโs younger.
Brian Taylor
BruyGuy
Very smooth on the front end and easy to drink. Flavors reminded me of grains, and swear I caught a bit of vanilla in the nose.
Curtis Mulder

Balanced. Sweet and spicy. Not overpowering. Smooth. A little vanilla?
