Orange/citrus - nose. Packing some spice and heat First thought was bourbon but the more I drink, the less I think it’s a bourbon. I’ve had some good ryes and I’ve had some bad ryes.

Ooh I like it. I smell pears and high school Herbal Essence shampoo. Low proof I think, a little thin but overall pretty good. The taste is more nutty than the smell and just enough sweet.

I've been absolutely dead for two days with the flu so trying to catch up. Incorrect style and proof ratings courtesy my immune system. Bourbon sweetness, butterscotch, vanilla, Smooooooth. After water still with the caramel, standards. Golf cart. Not particularly interesting but that is just fine with me.

Nicely balanced but not too memorable. It feels like the distillery put a lot of work into making a crowd pleaser but as a result cut all the interesting bits.
